PREMILLENNIALIST discusses HIS VIEW OF SCRIPTURE

Gil Rugh is a PREMILLENNIALIST, but discusses the whole dynamic.

Brief Sermon Overview:

I want to talk about the subject of prophecy and particularly having to do with the rapture of the church and God's promises to us as His children. This is the anticipation, the hope, the expectation of the church of Jesus Christ. That we will some day be caught up from this earth, meet Jesus Christ in the air, be taken to glory with Him, introduced to His Father personally, presented in His presence as holy and blameless and without spot. Then we will return with Christ at a later date to this earth when He comes and establishes His kingdom over which He will personally rule and reign. We talk about the millennium; we're talking about the literal, physical earthly kingdom of Jesus Christ, 1,000 years in duration. Now you can be a pre-millennialist, a post-millennialist, or an a-millennialist. We are pre-millennialists.

This 53 minute talk by Gil Rugh is QUITE IMPRESSIVE; it seems to take many things into account from The Book of Daniel (especially chapter nine,) as well as The Book of Revelation (chapter three) which clues the listener in on how the "church of Philadelphia" will not be around for the entire tribulation period...but rather taken up (as part of the Bride of Christ) with the dead who rise and are given glorified bodies, who later return to Earth with Christ at the end of the seven year period.

Rugh also discusses those who will not have glorified bodies, but having chosen to believe in Jesus Christ, (including the remnant of the Jews) will go into the Millennium period to populate it for a thousand years, and then, after Satan is loosed for awhile, the end will come, & a New Heaven & Earth will begin in Eternity!

This is a MUST LISTEN!

OBSERVATION: Gil Rugh describes the type of person who Jesus will have "nothing against" (as per the third chapter of Revelation):

He or she will abound in the work of The Lord...be steadfast & inmovable...and their efforts will not be in vain.

My prayer is that we all work for God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit with all our minds and hearts and souls and spirit...24/7 whether at work, in our homes, working at home or caring about our needs and the needs of the many.
