STUMBLING BLOCK to INTELLIGENT DESIGN

Evolution & ET beings – or – Don’t Get Hoodwinked!

(SOURCE: Parsing some of the ideas in Gary Bates’ book, ALIEN INTRUSION: UFOs & the Evolution Connection, published by Master Books, a division of New Leaf Publication, Green Forest, AR, 2004.)

by Byron LeBeau

The below is an eclectic summary review by Byron LeBeau, whose co-authored book, THE CURS-ED NET, features some of the same basic tenets, namely, that the I AM Father of all IS the intelligent designer, and that (since evolution is a myth presented in a fog of ignorance &/or deliberate distraction, features the presumption of alien beings on the third dimensional level who allegedly are responsible for interference with human beings; as our own book shows (and Mr. Bates signs on to,) these so-called aliens are nothing more or less that the Fallen Angels & demons spoken to in THE HOLY BIBLE…PERIOD!

A SIDE NOTE OR TWO: If you wish to learn the truth – especially about spiritual matters – just assemble the notes of all the information given to “alien” abductees, and combine them with the channeled data given to the “contactees,” and then – THINK & DO the exact opposite of what is being suggested…and you will not be far from the kingdom of heaven!

A SPECIAL TREAT: Inspector Byron LeBeau has penned a poem to support the contention of Gary Bates in regard to the theory of evolution; it is called STAGES SET, and can be found on the bottom of this very web page.

LET’S START with Gary’s dismantling of the EVOLUTIONARY THEORY, a theory that is part of the fiction ensconced within our sad myopic reality:

On page 70 of his book, he suggests that if the BIG BANG THEORY were true, “there should be equal amounts of antimatter as well as the normal matter that we actually observe “ and suggests further that this, in itself, is a serious objection to this popular view to the evolution of the universe. He goes on to say that scientists “can make antimatter in a laboratory using particle accelerators and atom-smashing devises, but in a whole year, researchers can only produce enough antimatter to power a normal light bulb for a few seconds.” {{SO WHERE’S ALL THE ANTIMATTER?!?}}

INSURMOUNTABLE PROBLEM OF SPACE & SPEED

The below (from page 71) is only one of the reasons why ETs coming to this earth from other galaxies, etc., is extremely dubious, if not impossible. Witness: There are 100,000 dust particles per cubic kilometer of space At light speed (c=300,000 km per second), an impact with just one of these tiny objects would destroy a space-ship. Even at one-tenth the speed of light, the impact would be equivalent to about 10 tons of TNT.

HOW COULD THE BIG BNG START?

Has anyone ever really gone beyond the rhetoric to see where the “start” of the so-called BIG BANG came about??? You may be shocked to realize that NOTHING preceded whatever is being postulated…i.e., getting something out of nothing! {{When was the last time you got something out of nothing?}} Anyway, the theory goes like this, and is covered from pages 87-94 in Gary’s book:

ONCE UPON A TIME there was nothing. Somehow out of this nothing – some 15 billion years ago, there was a “quantum fluctuation” produced by a singularity or “kernel” of energy that, some say, was no bigger than a pinhead – and this “pinhead” contained the entire universe and all the matter in it, including space itself. Even science itself admits that THEY DON’T KNOW what triggered such a momentous event. {{FAITH, BABY, JUST GIVE US YOUR FAITH!}} So, in essence, this a BELIEF SYSTEM, just like any religion – {{only this religion has no personal God – or what we Christians would call the Intelligent Designer of all & everything, as in THE ALPHA & OMEGA that Jesus identified Himself with.}}

Without beating a dead horse, let me cite what Bates himself cites from cosmologist Alan Guth (still on page 87):

The universe burst into something from absolutely nothing – zero, nada. And as it got bigger, it became filled with even more stuff that came from absolutely nowhere.

INTELLIGENT PEOPLE would stop right here and say, in effect, SOMETHING SEEMS NOT RIGHT ABOUT THIS! However, In the interest of “science” - and giving them every benefit of every doubt – I will plow on in this analysis: After about five billion years, the first stars began to form out of the cooling gas clouds, which, in turn, gave rise to the galaxies, our Milky Way and planets (88.) Bates asks us to envision these galaxies existing only on the surface of a small balloon, and as the balloon expands, these galaxies move away from one another. {{Remember the head of the balloon where you blow the balloon up was once a pinhead containing all future matter – and it itself came – you guessed it – puff! OUT OF NOTHING!}}

Science never ceases to flaw us with their big words and ideas, and they did not fail us, by coming up with the word “hyperspace” (89) that conveniently fills up the space within the balloon. Gary then turns our attention to science fiction {{as if this aforementioned theory was not already?}} and suggested that these types of writers used this concept to envision their own “wormholes” or “folding of space” as convenient ways of “intelligently” presenting their own ideas here – since the very emptiness within the balloon was designated as “hyperspace” and they have every right “to expand” on what goes on within this balloon. {{As the old saying goes, IF YOU CAN’T BEFUDDLE THEM WITH YOUR MAGIC, BEDAZZLE THEM WITH YOUR B@##^&*T.}}

{{I guess, if this weren’t so tragic in its flawed presentation, it would be funny, but when the mass of people still seriously believe not only this theory, but all of its fruit, like how mankind came to be, and how possible ETs are now coming to our sector of this expanded balloon to “save us” from ourselves, it cannot be funny, but rather it takes on a note of sinister overtones. YET THE BALLOON IS BURST FOR THE DISCERNING MIND TO SEE THE EMPTINESS WITHIN.}}

It is easy to surmise why Gary does not believe in ET intervention (as per the above,) but who or what IS CAUSING this “alien intrusion?”

After going through an extensive view on the so-called “ET DATA,” Gary is left with only one scenario that makes sense to him, while answering the question of HOW DID WE GET HERE? Even though I do not agree with every idea Gary presents in the ET section of the book, his “demonic connection” ideas are in keeping with our own book (as previously mentioned,) so I will cite some of these concepts from Mr. Bates’s point of view, and will put in parenthesis our ideas, if they vary somewhat; however, the “INTELLIGNET DESIGN” hypothesis is not only vouchsafed by yours truly, but it is in keeping with the facts presented in THE HOLY BIBLE, and confirmed in ‘The Ethiopian Book of Enoch’, so this little exercise is far from being unimportant:

On page 240, Gary starts to arch some suspicious eyebrows about the so-called “alien” abduction phenomenon, prevalent within the UFO dynamic. He states that it makes “little sense” that the messages received by these “visitors” (abductors) that they are often one of salvation claiming the high moral ground and condemning poor human behavior. If this is true, he speculates, then why are the “visitors” not more friendly nor more reasonable in their behavior toward us? Why do they not use their so-called advanced technology to help us? Rather, (citing the work of Karla Turner 241-242,) a different picture emerges about these “visitors” from elsewhere, as in these aliens being able to alter our perceptions of our surroundings—control what we think or say—can be present with us in a visible or partially visible state—leave marks on our bodies (including four fingered claw marks)—cause female abductees untold gynecological miseries, including cancer of the breast and uterus—serious illnesses leading to disabilities and even death—scary representations of themselves, including grays, as well as reptoid, insectoid, blond, and widow peaked entities aboard their craft—and while so imprisoned, the abductees are scoffed at, jeered at, and threatened by their alien captors—all while some witness grotesque hybrid creatures, nurseries of hybrid human fetuses, and vats of colored liquid filled with parts of human beings. {{If this was indeed presented as a form of “vbirtual reality scenario” it indeed seem oh so real to Karla Turner, as well as many other unfortunate abductees subjected to such mental cruelty.}}

If this is not bad enough, other humans are drained of blood, mutilated, flayed, and dismembered, and stacked lifeless, like cords of wood. Some abductees have been threatened that they too, will end up in this condition if they don’t cooperate with their alien captors. They have been known to go into homes and temporarily remove young children, leaving their distraught parents paralyzed and helpless. In case where a parent has been able to protest, the aliens insist that “The children belong to us.”

Painful genital and anal probes are performed on children as well as adults. They even make predictions of imminent periods of global chaos and destruction…while certain ones will be “rescued” from the planet in order to continue the species.

{{Do we still wish to use the term “visitors” to describe such alien captors – as in blithely done in the NEW AGE literature, or by some abducted who seemingly have become spokespersons (PR MEN AND WOMEN) for these same alien inflictors of such cruelty, people like Whitley Strieber, for instance, who is not only mentioned by Bates in a negative light, but also referred to in our own book, where he is actually having some sort of sex with a “lady” that goes by the name of Ishtar – a name associated with the fertility goddesses condemned by the prophet Jeremiah, as well as other prophets/&/or authors of other books of THE HOLY BIBLE? Something is not right about all of this!}}

On the bottom of page 242, Gary asks a group of very intriguing questions:

Do the alien captors need to paralyze us and render us helpless to resist?

Do angels need to steal our fetuses?

Do they need to manipulate our children’s genitals and probe our rectums?

Are fear, pain, and deception consistent with high spiritual motives? [In a footnote, the author refers to Ms. Turner again, who, in fact, is addressing these questions in an article called, “Aliens—Friends or Foes?”

On page 243, Bates cites Jacques Vallee’s insight that – no – what Turner is painting a picture of, are abductees that have been so manipulated, that some even suffer from what is called the “Stockholm Syndrome,” a phenomenon that occurs when hostages, such as in a kidnapping or terrorist plot, start to sympathize, or even cooperate with their captors. [This is where the aforementioned Strieber comes in. in the book.]

WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON HERE?

As the book progresses, culminating in the information provided in THE APPENDIX, certain clues start to manifest, indicating that we truly are dealing with beings of a spiritual nature (supernatural, to be sure,) but somehow have lost their collective halos, and have winged their way (thrust down) into our lives – as in INTRUSION! One such example of this dynamic is dramatized on pages 256-259, where a man by the name of Joe Jordon, (former non-Christian and present director of a UFO organization called Mutual UFO Network MUFON,) cited the following:

He tells of a man who is being probed by a Satanic force, but when he used the name of Jesus, whatever dark force was molesting him – left! For details of this case, go to the below link:

http://www.alienresistance.org/fltodayarticle.htm

{{In this one case alone, one must wonder why an “ET” (even if they are inter-dimensional,) could be affected by the name of Jesus? BTW: It was this very type of dynamic that saved Richard Stout, the co-author of THE CURS-ED NET, from the lifelong grip of these same or similar dark forces, as discussed in chapter four of our book. Is it any wonder that now Gary Bates is picking up the same scent that Richard & I did, and Bates wrote his work before ours appeared on the Internet, and I was not familiar with Gary’s work until after I was interviewed in 2007, discussing the contents of

the aforementioned 2007 book, regarding this same subject. This radio program we both appeared on is called, THE EDGE - hosted by Daniel Ott.}}

OTHER CLUES

According to UFO researcher, Joe Jordon and his associate, Wes Clark, they decided to form a UFO research group called, CE-4, and found to their amazement that a particular type of Christian was not abducted. Since some Christians were, along with people of other persuasions, they wanted to know why some were not. This is what they found:

There are two types of Christians: a) “TALK-THE-TALK” ONES & b) “WALK-THE-WALK” ones. On page 261, these researchers found that invariably, the “TALKIES” can be abducted, while the “WALKIES” are not! The “WALKIES” are those that actually have given their lives over to following Jesus Christ, the author of Christianity, and the one whom the Bible claims is the Creator of the universe. This type of Christian applies biblical//Christian principles in his (her) daily life, and looks for a spiritual reality beyond the world around him (her.) Because of this discernment, these Christians would view abduction experiences by entities/demons as a spiritual attack, and deal with them in the appropriate manner -- in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ. Clark describes this type of person as a “walk the walk” Christian. {{A vivid example of this was given on THE EDGE by L.A. Marzulli, who after researching THE MOTHMAN, had a strange visitor at the foot of his bed at night who reminded him of this very creature; it took Marzulli about 30 seconds to collect himself, and then he started to focus his attention directly at this evil presence (while saying the Psalms,) and it was like a shot into the middle of this entity, who very quickly withdrew from the room. If you wish to listen to this interview, please go to THE EDGE Internet radio archives, and scroll down until you get to the first name [L.] since the archives are listed alphabetically by first name; likewise for “Gary” & “Byron.”}}

{{IS THIS, THEN, THE KEY TO THE ENIGMA OF ALIEN ABDUCTIONS?}}

LET’S CONTINUE:

There seems to be an actual formula (spotted by people like UFO researcher Jacques Vallee) for the agenda of whomever these aliens may be; as stated on page 270, it would include showing an “evolutionary world view, complete with a diet of science fiction and a decline of traditional religious beliefs,” while preparing “the world for the arrival of the space brothers and their new religion.” {{If these were demonic entities at root, using lying propaganda of evolutionary themes, mixed with sci/fi gibberish, it might make for a nice “softening up” of the average human, whose main agenda seems to be to eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you die, or secular humanistic words to that effect. It is not hard to sway those who have no spiritual anchor to keep them in check in the face of so many allurements; in fact, this may be the reason (if the above suggested data of CE-4 is true,) as to why these same entities would feel it would be wasting their time to bother Christians who have spiritual discernment within the very core of their being.}}

Jordon & Clark, who were not even Christian when they endeavored to start CE-4, found (off the record as per page 271 contents,) that ALL of the several different leading abduction researchers had in their files cases of abductees halting their experience in the name of Jesus Christ. As Bates sadly relates, these researchers simply “disregarded” the data. {{To me, it speaks volumes as to why Ufology is in the state of disarray it is in, and why I personally keep my distance from the field in general. To speak of a Biblical World View and how the UFO phenomenon relates to it is not exactly how to go about winning friends and influencing THE HIGH AND MIGHTY of Ufology, especially when it comes to prime time presentations! It seems that the truth of the matter is relegated to the Internet radio programs, or public access TV, or even websites like what you are reading, where viewership is ‘’relatively’’ at a minimal, at best!}}

CONTINUING ON…

In a nutshell, it seems that all of these seemingly demonic elements are intent on undermining the Bible and the Christian view that Jesus is the Savior of mankind, and “replacing it with the view that they are the saviors instead.” {{The contactee literature is rife with this theme, and many cult-related Christian critics (like Texe Marrs DARK SECRETS OF THE NEW AGE & Walter Martin THE KINGDOM OF THE CULTS,) give a tremendous amount of data that would back up this despicable undermining of Jesus and who He really is, by twisting the very scriptures of God.}}

CHANNELING & REMOTE VIEWING

Mr. Bates sets up this aspect of the alien agenda with the following remarks on page 288:

“The New Age/UFO view of the world precludes its adherents from accepting the Bible for what it claims to be – the very words of God (see 2 Tim. 3:16). But from where do they get such a myriad of strange interpretations? Directly from the horse’s (alien’s) mouth, it would appear. This mode of communication has all the appearances of another age-old occult practice that has been given a technological facelift. It’s now called channeling.

Since this is not – per se – a book report, I will simply highlight some of the most egregious examples. {{Semjase seems to be a major name that has “contacted” now famous people like Billy Meier, Brad Steiger, and even Fred Bell (who is a relation to the then famous Alexander Graham Bell; what these people have in common is their propensity to ‘’spread the erroneous words of Semjase’’ who some have speculated (like Richard Thompson, for instance,) that it sounds suspiciously like the name of the Fallen Angel mentioned in the non-canonical ‘Book of Enoch.’ The other personality, of course, is Whitley Strieber, who wrote a number of books on “his now buddies” – the visitors, whom he now “strangely” seems to portray in a nice light! {{BTW: “Visitor” is Whitley’s euphemistic way of saying ~ alien demonic deceptive intrusive entity, but that would not sit well with his agenda, now would it?}}

Bates states (289) that Strieber actually claimed that he came to a point in his relationship with his “visitors” where he could call upon them almost at will. This reinforces the spiritual nature of his experience. {{It also suggests that he is possessed, especially when you consider that in the book, “Communion,” he actually had sex with a l”lady” by the name of Ishtar, whom Texe Marrs had linked to the pagan fertility goddess of old, and related to the dark forces of Satan via “bad seed” bloodlines as alluded to in the third chapter of Genesis.}}

Before we continue the focus on channeling, an allied discipline is called “remote viewing,” which some may think is harmless. Bates, however, takes a different view of this. Ostensibly, an individual sees pictures and images of an event, sometimes on other planets or in space. Attempts have been made to validate remote viewing as a scientific method. There are many claims that even the U.S. government experimented with remote viewing by predefining categories or questionnaires for the viewer to answer – a bit like filling out a multiple-choice form while “under the influence” (289.)

The author goes on to state that he has heard of first-hand claims from self-proclaimed experts that just about anyone can be trained for this task. “It’s just a case of emptying yourself completely of any earthly thoughts before you begin a session, allowing streams of thoughts or pictures to transcend from other sources.” But, the author argues, is it reasonable to allow a powerful, unknown being from an unknown origin to do this to you? (289) {{I tend to agree with the concern of Gary Bates; after I finished my aforementioned radio interview with Daniel Ott, a person (who will remain nameless) called me and we talked for quite some time. He said that he had a propensity (or facility) to do remote viewing, and being quite good at it, thought it more a gift than anything else. He also mentioned to me that he was engaged in fighting off what he described as “black blobs” that somehow were “interfacing” with him, and he did not like their presence. I did not wish to make a judgment, since I never met this man, and he otherwise seemed like a person of sound mind who was looking for certain answers, but in no wise would consider remote viewing as being of the dark side if I understood him correctly. After reading what Bates had to say, I now wonder if remote viewing is just another form of astral projection or out-of-body experience (only in a different form) where you may attract dark entities that can take myriad forms, but whatever it is, it is not good for your spiritual development. Could this be yet another reason to avoid (like the plague) the things connected with the occult? In my co-authored book, I made a fairly large point in demonstrating how the paranormal is connected with this darkside. Like “STRANGE MIRRORS” – (which I was personally warned about via a synchronistic series of events,) I can only counsel caution when it comes to strange gifts we think may even come from God – like psychic ability, for instance!}}

Another very prolific writer (on the occult) who seems to have been contacted by Semjase (Semyaza,) is none other that Brad Steiger, and he revealed this in one of his books called, “The Fellowship.” Semjase must have friends in “high places” since Brad’s first wife, Francie claimed to have channeled messages from an angelic being by the name of Kihief. {{I had taught English for a number of years, and never once did I have a student by that name.}} Anyway, Kihief gave Francie a way of salvation – a different gospel – from the one outlined in the Bible, where, according to this angel, the serpent people, that he says were represented by the serpent described in the biblical Garden of Eden, helped create humankind. Francie said we should believe him because “he speaks only of God and of goodness.” [If you are curious where the author is citing this, the answer is the book, “Gods of Aquarius,” by Brad Steiger himself!!!

{{IF ALARM BELLS AND RED FLAGS ARE NOT GOING OFF IN YOUR MIND AND SOUL AND SPIRIT, YOU MAY NOT BE TRULY SPIRITUALLY DISCERNING!}}

ASHTAR COMMAND

Before I beat a dead horse, allow me to cite just one more example of what is plaguing the UFO field, and has personally affected a person I used to work with in presenting Ufological topics on TV. When I go through this exercise (as cited by Gary Bates,) know that I only hope and pray that this person – as well as persons of his NEW AGE ilk - WAKES UP and comes to their collective senses about how THE OCCULT is really nothing more or less than SATANIC POISON being injected into the hearts and minds of people simply making poor choices. To understand this “ASHTAR COMMAND,” we need to do a little homework…that I applaud Gary on doing in his insightful book. On page 292, we get a bird’s eye view of just how the NEW AGE has come full circle from the old Babylonian Mystery Schools, and their related brethren. “ASHTAR” (like Semjase or Semyaza) is a code word for – guess who?

To understand the insidious nature of the root of ASHTAR, we must take a look at some “key people” from yesteryear: Consider how Mr. Bates cites the evidence, starting on page 292: “Ashtar is not a new arrival. Variations of the name, such as Astaroth, Ashar, Asharoth, etc., appear in demonological literature throughout history, both in the Orient and Occident. Mr. Ashtar had been around a very long time, posing as assorted gods and demons and now, in modern phase, as another glorious spaceman. [This was referenced from John Keel’s book, UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse.] {{Maybe Keel was really trying to alert people back in 1970 that there really was a ‘trojan horse’ infiltrating the Occident – in the form of UFOs, the beginnings of an understanding of the abduction phenomenon (with the Betty & Barny Hill disclosures,) and the contactee wave of the 1950s and 1960s. Since he also wrote about “Mothman,” of whom Richard Stout, co-author of our book actually said he had seen on Long Island before a building it was perched on actually burned down to the ground,) I suspect that Keel knew something – and was trying to alert the public (sometimes tongue-in-cheek) to the real dangers that were lurking quite near!}}

ANYWAY, this Ashtar has another interesting connection. Ashtaroth “appears in the Old Testament several times as an evil object of worship condemned by God.” Bates cites 1 Kings 11:33 (3 Kings in the Catholic Bible,) to make his point (293.) What is really interesting to me about all this is that Ashtoreth was the female consort of Baal (just one of many names for the devil – also called Baalzebub, who was sometimes worshipped as a sun god). {{I am going to quote the next section from the same page in toto since it bears on another theme of our co-cauthored book – i.e., the Fallen Angels as “wandering stars” – as in the wandering stars cited by St. Jude in his New Testament epistle. Witness the dot-connection:

“Some Bible scholars claim Ashtoreth literally means “star.” There is no doubt that she was also worshipped as a moon goddess and also the goddess of the planet Venus (an object of fertility). In other passages, similar names appear in various forms and often in the plural (Ashtaroth Baalim), probably signifying modifications of the original form. Ashtoreth was the Ishtar of the Accadians {{and buddy to W. Strieber,}} Astarte of the Greeks (1 Kings 11:15…) Ishtar of the Assyrians, and Astarte of the Phonicians, and she was also called the “queen of heaven” (Jer. 44:25).”

The author also makes links of these demonic type spirits to planets as well, as in the case of “Baal-zebub” which is also mentioned in the New Testament, and signifies worship to Mars and Saturn, and the latter planet was also associated with the evil Molech (293.)

{{In our own book, THE CURS-ED NET, we devote a whole chapter on how the astrological signs of the Zodiac relate to just another con-game of the Fallen Angels and demons on how to steer man away from the Bible and into honoring and serving them via the stars – condemned by the prophet Jeremiah and others. So all this dot-connection – even between Bates’s book and ours is quietly making the point that the NEW AGE literature & all that it entails has its underpinnings in the occult sciences – which itself is controlled by SATAN, INC.}}

THE ‘APPENDIX’ UNDER THE SCOPE

This is yet another interesting section in this book. Bates makes what is ostensibly an ASTOUNDING STATEMENT: , “…that there is no intelligent ET life elsewhere in the physical universe” and does so by the “strong inferences,” looking at the many Bible verses that explain how humans are at the center of God’s stated purposes for His creation (346.) To many, this may appear as an outlandish egocentric statement to make, so I will spend some portion of the rest of this review in at least showing why the author makes such a BOLD STAEMENT.

The author admits that we have been so saturated with media propaganda on this issue, that we may have fallen prey to its intended agenda – if in the very least, subconsciously (346.) You may rightfully ask: WHY IS THE UNIVERSE SO BIG?

THE BLUNT REPLY: Bates cites Genesis 1:1, which states, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The sun & moon come later, in the text, and stars are mentioned almost as an aside, and the context makes it clear that they were made specifically to benefit mankind (347.) There is never any other scripture verse that gives any other reason for the creation of stars, (such as to harbor ET life.)

He goes on to say that the whole process took six days, and at the end of this, God said that it was “good,” so the text implies that there was no death before Adam and Eve. When mankind sinned or rebelled against God, the “curse” was brought upon all of God’s creation, not just mankind. God cursed the earth (Gen. 3:17), the plants (vs. 18), and the animals (vs. 14); and in fact, Romans 8:21-22 says that the ‘’entire creation suffers from the Curse:

…the creation itself will be has not yet been set free

from its bondage to decay….We know that the whole

creation has been groaning in travail together until now (Revised

Standard Version).

{{TAKE THE TIME TO DIGEST THIS BEFORE WE CONTINUE:}}

[I have found in my research, that when met with an idea that seems outlandish at the face of it, it is imperative to study the argument with a fine tooth comb. Up to this point, the author Gary Bates has presented some sound arguments to show how both the theory of Evolution – as well as ETs coming to this planet – are both virtually impossible. When you read the book in detail, you will see why this is so. SO…I think we owe it to the author to respect his thesis, as we forge –perhaps – foreign ground in our search for truth. I remember in chapter five (p.56) of THE ‘’CURS’’-ED NET, I myself speculated on “THE LARGER PICTURE,” after we had “made the cut” sort of speak, and became part of God’s new glory, i.e., saved! Perhaps this vast universe which God pronounced as “good,” is the perfected non-decaying concepts that we will experience, (which may be in another dimension,) overseen by the “good” angels who did not fall, so none of which was subjected to “the curse” - which now we cannot enter – but later, after we ourselves have been redeemed forever and ever! Perhaps there are other marvels awaiting the saved of which we have no comprehension, as alluded to by St. Paul when he said that eye hath not seen, nor ear heard….]

THE UNIQUE EARTH

Again, without trying to appear egocentric, let’s try to follow the author’s reasoning and citations: Bates’s Scriptural argument starts on page 347, and goes like this: The whole of creation {{perhaps in this dimension}}was subject to decay because of the curse of Genesis 3:17; it would hardly seem fair to aliens living on other planets. God, as the second Person of the Blessed Trinity, stepped out of heaven, came to earth (this planet only) as a human being, and not as a Pleiadian or a Vulcan, and He came not only to redeem mankind (who are descendents of Adam) back to himself, but His creation also. He will restore the cursed creation to what it was in the beginning. No alien could be subject to the redemption since it applied only to those of the human race (Heb. 9:26-28). And ultimately they would be destroyed through no fault of their own. The Scriptures are very clear that Christ did not and will not, be visiting other planets to undergo crucifixion for alien races. 1 Peter 3:18 says:

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.

Bates considers the new creation will be designed for mankind, but the idea of Christ “separately visiting the planet Vulcan to redeem aliens living there falls down here, too (348.) The monogamous marriage of Christ with His church (as bride) & born from the spear wound in His side, is a clear parallel to the first man and his bride, born from a wound in the side of Adam. The author emphasizes this point when he says, that The Bible “makes no provision for God to redeem any other species, any more than to redeem fallen angels (Heb. 2:16). Mankind and the earth are clearly the spiritual center of God’s universe. “

{{I know that these previous words will be hard to grasp or comprehend, and without being an apologist for the author, perhaps I could simply say that a full reading of his book is in order to see whether or not his ideas are fully expressed, and by eclectically presenting this essay, perhaps have left out a point or two that would better help you in seeing Mr. Bates’s’ point of view more clearly. It may even cause me to reconsider my own “LARGER PICTURE” point of view, but if I do, it would not be the first time I needed to make a course correction in my search for the truth. My only pray is to not be so open-minded as to forsake the truth of the WHOLE of the HOLY BIBLE – GOD’S WORD!}}

THE REST OF THE APPENDIX

These ideas seem to be in keeping with our own book about the Fallen Angels & demons, with reference to the ‘Book of Enoch.’ Gary presents the material in the form of “four major views” regarding the expression “the sons of God” in Genesis 6, with some surprising connections to UFOlogy, but see the text itself for details of this (starting on page 351.) {{My belief rests squarely with the #1 view, that the sons of God are fallen angels. In this view, the author makes it clear that if the sons of God were not angels, then the expression for them should have been benoth adam instead of bene elohim (352.) If you do research on this subject outside of this book, you may draw the same conclusions as Richard Stout & myself have done on this issue; an interesting comprehensive study regarding this was, in fact, done online by J. Timothy Unrah, and the link to it can be found at the following:

What I found interesting about his arguments on the sons of God, was how he used different citations from the Old Testament to prove his point, so that these very references showed clearly (at least to me,) that what Enoch had spoken to in ‘The Ethiopian Book of Enoch,’ formed the underpinnings of the very confusing and seemingly compacted verse: Genesis 6:4.}}

A WORD OR TWO ABOUT “THE NEPHILIM”

Starting on page 356, the author addresses this confusing term. He suggests that the expression was left untranslated by the English translators. Although referred to as giants, which very well may be true, the literal meaning is “fallen ones,” from the Hebrew root word “naphal.” The author poses a good question as to why these beings were condemned by God for merely being the offspring within an ungodly family?!? Ordinarily, this is not the case, or it would be very unfair to any given human being. The answer then, must go deeper! Some have suggested that the answer lies in the suggestion that the Nephilim were not fully human – or a hybrid offspring. {{I see this as a clue that if God made all things “good,” then what was done by these rebellious angels was “not good” (a flagrant transgression) and therefore not part of God’s plan…to the extent that God had caused a GREAT FLOOD to exterminate those who transgressed the laws of God.}}

On page 358, the author cites some who suggest that “the modern hybrid/alien/humans are “real” living offspring, similar to the Nephilim of Genesis 6. {{Mr. Bates has a problem with this interpretation since – if it were true – then how come it says in scripture that they were apparently locked up in ’tartarus to await judgment at the end of time. And further, why wouldn’t all angels who partake in these practices today be “locked up” by God as well? THIS IS A VERY GOOD POINT! In my own research, I found a very curious remark in ‘The Book of Jubilees (albeit non-canonical) that makes it very clear as to the possible answer to this:

And the chief of the spirits, Mastema, Satan came and said: ‘Lord, Creator, let some of them (my fellow fallen angels) hearken to my voice, and do all that I shall say unto them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my will on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my judgment, for great is the wickedness of the sons of men.’

“And He said: ‘Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation’” the abyss or tartarus”(X:8-9.)

So if the above two verses are in any way true (which can not be said definitively,) then this would at least answer this most perplexing question, and also give credence to what we may be seeing to this very day in the UFO and abduction phenomenon.}}

Gary Bates goes on by showing a possible differentiation between fallen angels and demons, by citing the Book of Enoch, in showing that the demons are the spirit fruit of the Nephilim {{which would be spelled out in chapter 15 of the Ethiopian version,}} and that in the Gospel of Mark (5:2-13) there is a definite reference to these very same demons who are cast out by Jesus Himself, and allowed to enter a group of pigs, which they immediately drive over a cliff to a death by drowning. {{We make this same distinction in our co-authored book, THE CURS-ED NET.}}

On page 364, the author also asks another legitimate question: Where are the post-flood giants, since they were not destroyed? {{I suggested in our book that we should look to “the curse” that was placed upon Canaan, the son of Ham, for Ham’s despicable sexual act upon his mother, the wife of Noah. If we couple this with “giants” as being part of that very curse, and trace the history of giants (right up to the present day – as mighty men of renown, and some very large, as pointed out in the research of Stephen Quayle on GIANTS, as reflected on my web page, “GIANTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND ELSEWHERE,” found at the link:

http://inspectorblebeau.pbwiki.com/GIANTS-IN-THE-MIDDLE-EAST-AND-ELSEWHERE

you may get an interesting overview & insight into the further dynamics played out on this very planet, not only to the reality of GIANTS to this present day, but how the curse may be intimately bound to the current enigma of THE UFO & DEMONIC ABDUCTION PHENOMENON. This, again, is one of the key themes of our co-authored work.}}

Toward the end of the APPENDIX, the author touches on the book of Enoch, the epistle of Jude, some interesting names that may have been associated with the NEW AGE, such as “Ashtar,” Semjaza, Billy Meier, the book of Jasher, and WHY THE UNIVERSE IS SO BIG, especially if it does not contain ET beings – as the author had strongly suggested in previous chapters. It makes for interesting reading…and I would heartily recommend the reading of this WHOLE book.

POSTSCRIPT POEM by Byron LeBeau, bearing on the shaky theory of evil-lution:

STAGES SET

Are we so foolish as to think

a worm was once our first estate?

then slowly crawling up the scale

to stupid fish who take the bait?

arriving at a monkey state

while clubbing neighbors that we hate?

until at last ~ sweet man was formed

presumably ~ our last estate?

HOGWASH! me thinks on ANY date

a worm was ne’er our first estate!

but rather...

Sent from LIGHT to discord dimmer

to learn quite clearly while we simmer

to slough off scales of Reptile FATE...

to spit out every tempting bait...

LOVING ALL from stages past of bitter hate

to see again our first estate...

conjoining with our ANGEL~MATE

in silent sweet repose ~ we wait!

In stages set ~ we linger here

until - at last - we see quite clear

that we were always MAN you see ~

reflection of our GOD to be.
